God instructed Israel not to mistreat widows (Exod. The Bible has a number of things to say about widows. But such should never be the case within the church.

Death is common, and thus widows don’t necessarily merit any undue attention. In the world outside the church, many might look upon widows as a regular part of life. the go-between bank that transfers from wherever the deposit is made, to the beneficiary, EWOFS).Within any decent-sized congregation there are bound to be some who are widows, usually those that are older, but in some cases there might be younger widows as well. NB: Vincent has also provided the correspondent bank info (i.e. You can do it by direct deposit – I can vouch for Vincent’s integrity – I’m proud to call him a friend. My hope is that visitors to this website will consider donating to Vincent’s NGO – no amount is too small – USD/Euro/GBP, whatever you like– every little bit helps these beautiful kids whose greatest dream is to go to school. The work of Vincent and his colleagues takes courage, commitment, and the humility of knowing that while the world cannot be changed overnight, each individual life that is changed through their efforts is a step in the right direction. Sadly, their stories are very similar to those of countless young Ugandans. Images of Vicky’s office are available on this website, along with brief bios/photos of the children he’s trying to help. Vincent has since put himself through college, married and had two little girls. Just kids, their lives severely damaged before it had a chance to begin – yet not unrecoverable, never that. I was also struck by the grave presence of the children I met, who were left alone to raise their younger siblings in the wake of their parents’ deaths, some of them infected with the virus at birth. I was struck by his demeanor: luminous smile, knowing eyes, affectionate, easy-going, undaunted by the immensity of his task, the epitome of brotherly love.
